"We're on a Rooftop."
If you only got one night in New York, where would you go?
I'd like to go onto a rooftop. My parents would do the same with me. We were standing on a rooftop. We were standing on the top of Rockefeller Center.
After realizing that my dad didn't have any plans for that night, I decided to bring us to Rockefeller Center that, in my mind, was the best place to see New York at night.
So I started checking their website (Top of the Rock Observation Deck) around 7pm, surprisingly there were still many available time slots for that night. The one I chose was 10pm and it cost $30 per person. (Later on I found another kind of tickets called "Sun & Stars" which costs $45 per person but you can visit twice on a single day. Also, that would be better if you already had a New York Citypass that you could access NYC's six top attractions.)
It was a really great chance to take a selfie with the city, well, not really. I saw a lady and her daughter taking selfies up there but they could not see their faces in the picture coz it was so dark. As a 'good guy', I decided to help them with my flashlight.
Then they got us this perfect shot, one holding my camera and the other holding the iPhone.
30 Rockefeller Plaza is also the home of the NBC television network. A number of TV shows are recorded here, such as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live, etc. I would be able to buy the merchandise if I went there during daytime.
